Multiple Slit Diffraction

The photos show diffraction patterns with one, two, three and four slits.The multiple slits are each the size of the single slit. Note that the fringes become sharper, with more dark space in between, as the number of slits increases. The single slit pattern is evident in all of the multiple slit patterns.
