Red + Green + Blue = White (sort of)

 

This item is from Arbor Scientific and it was so neat (and cheap- around $5) that I bought 3 of them! When it's held still, the (plastic) crystal is (sort of) pinkish white. (It looks a little whiter "in person" but still has a pink tone.)

If you swing the crystal about by its cord, this is what you see:

Cool, eh? (No, I'm not on the Arbor Scientific payroll, but they do have inexpensive and nifty demos.)
